How are communal pet remains distributed?

After a communal cremation takes place, a handful of ashes are put into plastic bags to return to the pet’s owner. Not sure if your pet is included in a particular cremation? Well, before the pets are entered into the furnace, most cremators place an ID/Number tag on the side of the furnace to keep track of the animals that are entered. Cremains can be stored in multiple ways. Such as, plastic bags, a tin container, an upgraded purchased urn, and many more. When the ashes come out of the furnace, each bag/container has the ID/Number tag of a specific pet attached.
